Meet Our Dentists
Dr. Christine Altrock
Dr. Altrock is the Owner and a dedicated general dentist at Huntington Altrock Fabb Dental, where she is passionate about helping patients improve both their oral health and confidence through personalized care. She began her academic journey at UCLA before earning a master’s degree in Epidemiology from the University of Washington in Seattle. While working part-time in research, she discovered her passion for dentistry and went on to attend NYU College of Dentistry, where she further developed her love for the profession. After graduating, Dr. Altrock completed a dental residency at USC, gaining valuable experience treating veterans at the VA Hospital and medically complex patients at Los Angeles County + USC Medical Center. She later moved to San Diego, where she and Dr. Fabb worked together in private practice.
Dr. Altrock chose dentistry because it allows her to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives, improving not only their health but also their confidence. She knew she was in the right profession during dental school, where she found joy in working with her hands and viewed each procedure as a unique work of art. She has a strong professional interest in sleep dentistry and is especially passionate about educating patients on the serious health risks associated with untreated sleep apnea. Her commitment to excellence extends beyond the practice, as she has been deeply involved in local, state, and national dental associations, serving in leadership roles and as a delegate for both state and national organizations. Her dedication has earned her numerous honors, including Top 40 Under 40 Dentists in 2020, consistent Top Dentist awards since 2018, and prestigious nominations to the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the International College of Dentists.
Outside of the office, Dr. Altrock cherishes her role as a mother to her young daughter, with another child on the way. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially exploring San Diego’s beaches, building sandcastles, and paddleboarding. Family outings often include visits to SeaWorld, the zoo, and the safari park, where they love seeing a variety of animals. She also enjoys traveling and has fond memories of visiting national parks, including a recent winter trip to Yellowstone to see bison and elk. In her free time, Dr. Altrock stays active through running and working out, embracing a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
Dr. Brian Fabb
Dr. Fabb is a native New Yorker that fell in love with the Pacific Beach community. Originally from Long Island, he moved to San Diego to thaw out after graduating from Syracuse University. He returned to NY to attend New York University College of Dentistry, graduating as Student Council President and an active student leader. After completing his residency program, he became a faculty member at NYUCD to teach students while associating at a private practice in Flushing, Queens. In 2010, Dr. Fabb moved back to San Diego, practicing at a Camp Pendleton office for dependents of military families, and associating at a private practice in Santee. At the end of 2014, Drs Altrock and Fabb purchased their practice in Pacific Beach and have enjoyed meeting and treating all our patients’ oral healthcare needs.
Active in the San Diego County Dental Society, Dr. Fabb served as President during the challenging year of 2020. At the state level, Dr Fabb volunteers on the San Diego Dental Political Action Committee and as a delegate for the California Dental Association. Dr. Fabb received numerous awards and recognition for his volunteer efforts, including prestigious nominations to Pierre Fauchard Academy and International College of Dentists. He regularly attends continuing education courses to keep up to date with the latest technologies and advancements in the dental field so he can implement evolving data and research to bring the best results to his patients!
As residents of Pacific Beach, you will see both doctors running along the boardwalk, at local sporting events, art shows, music and beer festivals, hiking trails or on the golf course. They love contributing to their adopted beach community and improving people’s smiles and oral health. They welcome you and your family!
Manhttan and Peanut

Dr. Altrock and Fabb would like to introduce their rescue pups, Manhattan and Peanut. Manhattan was adopted when he was only 3 months old and 15 pounds from Helen Woodward. He was one of three puppies found along the side of the road in Los Angeles! He is now over 106 pounds but still thinks he is a small pup when he comes to cuddle next you on the couch! After Manhattan’s puppy days, the doctors volunteered fostering dogs through California Labradors and More Rescue in 2018 since Manhattan liked being social with other dogs.
Peanut is a toy poodle that belonged to Dr Fabb’s father. As another native New Yorker he has adjusted quite well to San Diego and sleeping in the sun.
Manhattan and Peanut love chasing birds and playing in the water. Although you will not meet the pups at the office, you can find them running around Mission Bay with Dr. Altrock or out on the water on stand up paddle boards!
